An 18-member group from the China Meteorological Administration visited NJIT to learn more about its Emergency Response Management Certificate program. NJIT has been designated a Center of Academic Excellence by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and has been designated the leader of the New Jersey Homeland Security Technology Systems Center, advising state law enforcement agencies and private organizations on emergency preparedness and homeland security matters.
